A two-year program that focuses on the measurement and evaluation of human motion, exercise physiology, advanced motor control, and applied biomechanics with applications to exercise and therapeutic rehabilitation. Instruction in Health Research Methods and Statistics is included. Graduates will have developed and enhanced their research skills.

Qualification:
Master's Type 1 (research only)

  1. In accordance with the Chiang Mai University Announcement for admission
  2. Graduated in the following disciplines or equivalent, i.e. Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Medical Technology, Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Public Health or other branches through the approval of the Program Executive Committee
  3. A person of Thai nationality or other nationalities who can study in this course in English
  4. Having a cumulative grade point average for a bachelor's degree of not less than 2.75 or equivalent or have research experience. For example, published articles or other works as approved by the Program Executive Committee
  5. In case of insufficient basic knowledge, the program administration committee may advice to take additional bachelor's degree courses such as basic science and physiology without credits.
  6. Minimum English score required for enrolment:​

Master's Type 2 (course work and research)

  1. In accordance with the Chiang Mai University Announcement for admission
  2. Graduated in the following disciplines or equivalent, i.e. Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Medical Technology, Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Public Health or other branches through the approval of the Program Executive Committee
  3. A person of Thai nationality or other nationalities who can study in this course in English
  4. Having a cumulative grade point average for a bachelor's degree of not less than 2.50 or equivalent or have research experience. For example, published articles or other works as approved by the Program Executive Committee
  5. In case of insufficient basic knowledge, the program administration committee may advice to take additional bachelor's degree courses such as basic science and physiology without credits.
  6. Minimum English score required for enrolment:​

* The score must not be less than the specified percentage from the total score 

The selection of successful applicants is performed in a comprehensive manner by examining the result of the English test, the certificate of academic records, the written statement of reasons for application, and an interview by the Administrative Committee of the Program.

Remarks: "Provisional Acceptance" may also be offered to certain applicants who do not meet all requirements based on the program committee's decision.
