A two-year program that focuses on the measurement and evaluation of human motion, exercise physiology, advanced motor control, and applied biomechanics with applications to exercise and therapeutic rehabilitation. Instruction in Health Research Methods and Statistics is included. Graduates will have developed and enhanced their research skills.

Qualification:
Master's Type 1 (research only)
- In accordance with the Chiang Mai University Announcement for admission
- Graduated in the following disciplines or equivalent, i.e. Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Medical Technology, Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Public Health or other branches through the approval of the Program Executive Committee
- A person of Thai nationality or other nationalities who can study in this course in English
- Having a cumulative grade point average for a bachelor's degree of not less than 2.75 or equivalent or have research experience. For example, published articles or other works as approved by the Program Executive Committee
- In case of insufficient basic knowledge, the program administration committee may advice to take additional bachelor's degree courses such as basic science and physiology without credits.
- Minimum English score required for enrolment:

The selection of successful applicants is performed in a comprehensive manner by examining the result of the English test, the certificate of academic records, the written statement of reasons for application, and an interview by the Administrative Committee of the Program.
Remarks: "Provisional Acceptance" may also be offered to certain applicants who do not meet all requirements based on the program committee's decision.

Graduate School's requirements - English score 2. Program's requirements 2.1. Academic seminar - Registration every semester, each one by a non-credit course. Evaluation of the seminar with the letters S/U. 2.2. In case of inadequate basic knowledge, academic committee may require to undertake extra-undergraduate courses without credits. D. Academic activities 1. Student must participate in at least 80 percent of academic seminars scheduled in each semester and presents a seminar on a topic related to his/her thesis as well as reports thesis progression once per semester, for at least 4 semesters. 2. The whole or part of a thesis must be published or accepted for publication in a peer-reviewed international journal or published in English in Thai-Journal Citation Index (TCI) Tier 1 journal or obtain a patent which is related to his/her thesis with the student's name being listed as the first author in at least one of the publications. 3. Student must present the whole or part of his/her thesis work either in an oral or a poster form in an academic conference at least one paper. 4. Student must report thesis progression to the Curriculum Administrative Committee every semester. 5. Student must report the thesis progression, using the graduate school format, to the Graduate school every semester, for approval by the Chairman of the Graduate Study Committee. |
